Play Day at Turner Field

On Saturday, Marty and his friend Chris took a trip to Turner Field Home of the Atlanta Braves for their season ticket holder play day. They were able to take batting practice and field balls in the outfield. They also had some fun taking pictures of themselves catching balls off the outfield fence. There was a tour of the clubhouse but they missed it! I guess they were too busy living out their childhood dream of being a professional baseball player! Here are some pictures....

Warming up in the batting cage!

Ready for the pitch!
Marty hit one off of the fence...only 3 feet from being a home run!

Marty on the Jumbotron!

Marty always played catcher but he looks like he would have made a pretty good outfielder to me!

Sunday School Social

Last night, we hosted our class Sunday School Social. We had a lot of fun and a great turnout! We had 8 kids under 4 years old so it kind of felt more like a kids birthday party! The kids of course had a great time playing together but we adults had fun too! We had lots of yummy food too! Here are some pictures from the night!

Happy 6 Year Anniversary Marty!

Yesterday, November 8th, Marty and I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary! I was 22 (I turned 23 on our honeymoon) and Marty was 25...we were so young! We have had an awesome 6 years of marriage...2 houses, a dog and one daughter later we are still very happy and in love. We spent the day together yesterday (while Camilla was with her Nana and Papa) doing some of our favorite things...going to church, eating lunch, taking a Sunday afternoon nap, going to a matinee movie (Couples Retreat...very good) and having dinner at Bonefish. Happy Anniversary Honey...I love you very much!

Happy Halloween!

I am not really into carving pumpkins...it's a little messy for me! I think we can get away with not doing it for the next year or two until Camilla really wants to do it. So this year, we did stickers! Here is Camilla with her pumpkins! I also added some pictures from last year...she has grown and changed SO MUCH!

I love this picture!

Trick or Treat

We had a very busy Halloween...We started at Taylor Road Baptist Church (my parents' church) for their Fall Festival. We had a great time. Camilla was able to play several of the games and they also had a hayride! My parents, aunt and cousins were also there. They had a "Trunk or Treat" set up which was perfect for Camilla's age so we did not have to walk door to door! Camilla loved it. She understood that she was supposed to put her candy in her pumpkin! When we left Taylor Road Baptist, we stopped by Vaughn Forrest Church where our friends the Barnetts and McCarthys were. I don't have many pictures from here - our camera doesn't take great pictures at night. Here are some pics from our night....
