Be Mine....

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day...we did. Marty and I went out to dinner and rented a movie on Saturday night while Camilla spent the night with her Nana and Papa (thanks!). It was so nice to have some one on one time with my Valentine!

On Sunday, we picked Camilla up from my parents and headed to church. After church, Camilla got to open up her Valentine's gifts. She got a bunch of little fun things like a My Little Pony, Mrs. Potato Head, Play-doh, coloring books, stickers and some puzzles. We had a fun weekend.

Snow Day....

This past Friday it SNOWED!!! Camilla was so excited. She would stand at the back door and say "snow snow." So we went on out in the backyard to play at about 10 am. It had not been snowing too long but there was enough to play in. Needless to say, she did not want to come inside but her little hands were freezing. We did get to play in it again on Saturday morning.

Ready for the snow
Waiting on us to let her OUT!

Happy 60th Birthday Dad!

On Wednesday, Feb 3rd, my dad turned the BIG 60! We were not able to go out Wednesday night so we celebrated on Thursday night by going to Jim N' Nick BBQ for dinner and then we came back to our house to have some peanut butter pie that I made. We had a great time. Camilla thinks that every birthday we celebrate is her birthday, so she had to blow out the candle and tried to dig into the pie...haha! This was the first time that Camilla had had peanut butter and she loved it! The pie is really easy to make. I have attached the recipe at the bottom.

Happy Birthday Dad/Papa...we love you very much!

Camilla was eyeing the pie....

Then she went for it!

Blowing out Papa's candle...I was not going to try to put 60 candles on this little pie!

Yummy!
