Department of Revenue Baby Shower
Today, June 20th, Marty's coworkers hosted a baby shower for us. Marty is lucky to have such a supportive and caring group of people that he has worked with for the last 6 years. Jodi did a great job decorating and getting everything setup for the shower. It really looked great. Thanks to everyone at Marty's work for being so generous. We love the University of Alabama stroller and the bouncy seat as well as all the other gifts that we received.

Nursery Update!
Today, June 2nd, I took off work to work on the nursery and run errands so I thought I would publish the new additions to the nursery. We were given some great gifts for the nursery and I have found the perfect place for most of them. The name sign on the nursery door was made for us by my friend and co-worker, Jennifer Jacks. I think it looks awesome on the door. The round monogrammed mirror was made for Camilla by Nancy, a family friend from Rosedale Baptist Church. The angel painting with Camilla at the bottom was given to use my our friends, Tank and Angie. The cross-stitched art was made for Camilla by my cousin, Denice. And Camilla's very first Madame Alexander baby doll is from her Nana (my mom). These are the personal touches that really make her nursery so special!!
Montgomery Baby Shower
This past Sunday, June 1st, we had our Montgomery Baby Shower. It was hosted by some dear friends, Cameron, Caroline, Caron, Allison, Carrie, Kim, and Holly. They did a beautiful job from the flowers and food to the invitations! We had a great time and I was so touched by all of the friends and family that came! We also got some wonderful baby gifts! It is truly a blessing to have so much love and support from all of our friends and family during this exciting time in our lives!
Paintings for Camilla's Nursery
This past Saturday, May 31st, my sister, Kelly, and my mom came over to work on some art work for Camilla's room. One of my best friends, Caroline, stopped by to check out the progress. Kelly is a wonderful artist and I was so excited when she wanted to paint some pictures for the nursery. I went online and found some pictures that Marty and I both liked for the nursery and Kelly did the rest. I think the Elephant and Snail turned out fabulous. They are both signed "Aunt Kelly"! I worked on the Bible verse which turned out okay. I am no artist. The verse we choose has been my favorite for awhile..."For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer. 29:11. I still have not hung them in the nursery because I need to get some wire to hang them from. I will post an update as soon as they are hung!!!
